چکیده

This paper proposes a simple methodology to construct an iterative neural network which mimics a given chaotic time series. The methodology uses the Gamma test to identify a suitable (possibly irregular) embedding of the chaotic time series from which a one step predictive model may be constructed. This model is then iterated to produce a close approximation to the original chaotic dynamics. Having constructed such networks we show how the chaotic dynamics may be stabilised using time-delayed feedback, which is a plausible method for stabilisation in biological neural systems. Using delayed feedback control, which is activated in the presence of a stimulus, such networks can behave as an associative memory, in which the act of recognition corresponds to stabilisation onto an unstable periodic orbit. We briefly illustrate how two identical dynamically independent copies of such a chaotic iterative network may be synchronised using the delayed feedback method. Although less biologically plausible, these techniques may have interesting applications in secure communications.

Linear matrix inequality approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data control

In this paper, linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks (FCNNs) with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data controlis investigated. Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional combining with the input delay approach as well as the free-weighting matrix approach are employed to derive several sufficient criteria in terms of...

Analysis of Chaotic Signals: Non-linear Methods versus Neural Networks

Applications of Non-linear Methods and Neural Networks in the analysis of chaotic signals are compared in the paper. Results of time series analysis by non-linear methods are illustrated by computations of Lyapunov exponents and correlation dimension. Abilities of Neural networks are demonstrated in reconstruction of chaotic attractors, in generation of chaos and in the classification and model...

Chaotic Neural Networks

Artificial Neural Networks have proven, along the last four decades, to be an important tool for modelling of the functional structures of the nervous system, as well as for the modelling of non-linear and adaptive systems in general, both biological and non biological (Haykin, 1999). They also became a powerful biologically inspired general computing framework, particularly important for solvi...

بهبود بازشناسی مقاوم الگو در شبکه های عصبی بازگشتی جاذب از طریق به کارگیری دینامیک های آشوب گونه

In this paper, two kinds of chaotic neural networks are proposed to evaluate the efficiency of chaotic dynamics in robust pattern recognition. The First model is designed based on natural selection theory. In this model, attractor recurrent neural network, intelligently, guides the evaluation of chaotic nodes in order to obtain the best solution. In the second model, a different structure of ch...

Neural Networks for Chaotic Time Series Prediction

There are many systems that can be described as chaotic: The readings from seismic monitoring stations in mines which describe the rock dynamics, from EKG which describe the fibrillation of a cardiac patient’s heart, and the share prices in financial markets which describe the optimism about the earning potential of companies are examples of observations of deterministic, non−linear, dynamical ...
